To deauthorize a computer that you don't have access to, you have to deauthorize all of your computers. Then authorize each computer that you have again. You can deauthorize all computers only once a year.
I am trying to confirm if an application was pushed to my computer by a developer. I have reason to believe someone remote accessed into my computer without my permission. I have reviewed the event logs and it shows someone had pretended to be me. Can someone please assist me?
1.Disconnect your computer from the internet. If you believe someone is accessing your computer remotely, disconnect the computer from the internet. This includes removing any Ethernet cables and turning off your Wi-Fi connections.
5.Look for unsusally CPU usage You'll see this in the Task Manager or the Activity Monitor. While high CPU usage is common, and is not indicative of an attack, high CPU usage while you're not using your computer could indicate that processes are running in the background, which you may have not authorized. Be aware that high CPU usage could just be a program updating or a torrent downloading in the background that you forgot about.
Dropbox Web Helper supports the Dropbox user interface on Mac computers. It only runs when the desktop app is running. Dropbox Web Helper is an independent process, so it may start and stop at different times than the desktop app. If you adjust your firewall or antivirus software for Dropbox, we recommend similar adjustments for Dropbox Web Helper.
If your computer is running Windows 8.1 or Windows RT 8.1, the OneDrive desktop app is already built in. (Therefore, the OneDrive desktop app Setup file won't appear if you try to install it.) A setting is installed that lets you use Office to work on OneDrive documents with other people at the same time, but no other features are installed.
You can also use File Explorer to rename and delete files, create new folders, and move files around in your OneDrive folder. The changes will automatically be made in OneDrive and on your other computers that have the OneDrive app installed.
Yes. When you first set up OneDrive, select Choose folders to sync. If you didn't do this when you set up OneDrive, you can do it in Settings. For more information, see Choose which OneDrive folders to sync to your computer.
With the Dropbox desktop app, you can access the files and folders stored in your Dropbox account from your computer. When you download and install the Dropbox desktop app, two things are added to your computer:
Is your computer running slow? As it gets older it collects unused files, settings, resource-hogging applications, and out-of-date drivers which can make it slower and slower. CCleaner cleans up these files, temporarily freezes apps when you're not using them, and updates software drivers to make your PC faster.
Advertisers and websites track your behavior online with cookies that stay on your computer. CCleaner erases your browser search history and cookies so any internet browsing you do stays confidential and your identity remains anonymous.
If you can't access your old computer (or the hard disk crashed), you can sign out of your app from the account management page. Once signed out, you can sign in to the app on another computer.
I promise it's doable on your own. Well, technically on your own -- I'll walk you through how to fix your computer's sluggish performance by digging into Task Manager, controlling how many apps open at startup and a few other tips and tricks I've learned along the way.
After watching your system running slow with Task Manager open, you may have noticed that your antivirus software is routinely near the top of the list. Antivirus software can slow down your system while it's actively scanning your computer for malware and viruses.
If your PC takes forever to be responsive after you log into your Windows account, then you probably have far too many apps trying to run at startup. You can edit the list of apps and services that begin running when you log in to your computer by opening Task Manager and clicking on the Startup tab.
If none of the above suggestions speeds up your computer to a level that you're happy with, you can try reducing animations, changing themes and toggling other Windows 10-specific settings. If you're trying to get remote help, make sure you know the best way to take screenshots on Windows 10. If you're more of an Apple household, you're in luck: We have recommendations for speeding up a slow Mac, too.
The Harmony 1000, 1100, and 900 remotes were launched in 2006 and late 2009 respectively. Those remotes use a specific USB driver in order to work on macOS. The latest version of macOS in which you can set up and update these remotes on Logitech Harmony Remote Software is macOS 10.15. You can continue accessing your Logitech Harmony Remote Software account for these specific remotes by using a Windows computer or a Mac computer running macOS 10.15 or lower.
3. Transfer. You may not and you agree not to, or to enable others to, sell, re-distribute, rent, lease or sublicense the Software, except that if you purchased a Logitech product with this Software you may transfer the Software upon a permanent transfer of the Logitech product using the Software; provided that: (a) all Software updates in your use or possession are included in the transfer, (b) you do not retain a copy of the Software, full or partial, including copies stored on a computer or other storage device, and (c) the transferee reads and agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions of this agreement.
The guide below illustrates a few different ways to locate the Creative Cloud desktop app on your computer. You must be signed in to the Creative Cloud desktop app in order to use Adobe apps since all Adobe Creative Cloud apps installed on your device are disabled if you are not signed in to it. UMBC owned computers set up by DoIT already have the Creative Cloud desktop app installed. If you cannot find the Creative Cloud desktop app in any of the locations listed below, it is likely not installed (install instructions can be found here).
Same problem here on a MacBook with High Sierra and an Acer laptop PC with Windows 10. If I upload new files from phone, no sync happens on the two clients, unless I restart the app or wait some time (not sure how much, around 20 minutes I guess). Files are correctly uploaded to my account, as I can check within the phone app or the web app, but sync won't start on computer!
The Sync desktop application is available for Windows and Mac operating systems. When you install Sync on your computer the app will create a special Sync folder. The Sync folder works just like any other folder, and provides the following features:
You can install Sync on up to five of your own computers or devices and the contents of the Sync folder will automatically synchronize to each computer. Simply follow the same steps outlined above to install on additional computers.
Because the Sync folder works just like any other folder on your computer, you can save your files directly to Sync from virtually any desktop application you use. For example, to save to Sync from Microsoft Word you would:
Desktop app settings are specific to the computer you have installed Sync on. Account-wide settings are managed exclusively from the Sync.com web panel. Once Sync is installed on your computer, you can access the Sync desktop app preferences as follows:
The Advanced tab allows you to control which folders get synced to each computer, a feature called selective sync. Selective sync is typically used if Sync is installed on multiple computers, and you want to control which folders (in your Sync folder) get synchronized to each computer.
If you have the Sync desktop app installed on multiple computers, you can control whichfolders within your Sync folder get synced to each computer. This is accomplished via selective sync as follows:
When a folder is deselected via selective sync it will show a grey circle with a minus sign overlay icon, signifying that it is no longer syncing and safe to delete from your computer (to free up space). If you re-check a folder in the future, Sync will re-download it from the cloud.
There are lots of apps that have already been installed on your computer and additional apps are easy to install if you have an Internet connection. To find more apps, click on More Apps icon on your desktop to open the App Center.
In addition to the apps on your computer, if you have an Internet connection, you can use many additional web apps. Explore the Discovery Center through your Internet browser for inspiration!
Hi all, Webex has changed since I last used it. I just hosted a 4 hour meeting and broke the recordings up into 1 / 1.5 hours each. The last one has not appeared in my laptop file. I was prompted to start the meeting in the online browser, but when I hit start, the webex app on my computer popped up so I held the meeting with the app. I know I used record and didn't make a mistake. Where did it go? It has been 1.5 hours and the others showed up fairly quickly. I need that recording! Thank you, 2b1af7f3a8
