When a company logo, agent photo, or customletter/report is added to the CMA function in CTI NavigatorDesktop, theprogram will attempt to find the saved logo, photo or report file foruse each time the CMA function is opened. If a "file not found"or "invalid file" error displays when opening the CMA function, look at the path in the errormessage and the file name at the end of the error message for the locationand name of the file that cannot be found (or cannot be opened).
Note 2: Where instructions refer to {YourMLScode},substitute CTI's 3-letter code for your local MLS. This code can bedetermined by opening the CTI Navigator login screen and clicking the Setupbutton. The MLS code is the first 3 letters in the Internet Server Addressbox. Where instructions refer to {Your AgentName}, substitute your name (without the {} braces) exactly as listed in your local MLS. Your Agent Name is displayed in CTI Navigator under Roster > Agent/Office Info.
If you have many adjustments in your CMA Library that you don't want to lose, you can open the AdjLibrary.txt file, and manually delete the corrupted portion. Double-clicking on the file name in Windows opens the file for viewing and editing in Notepad. If there are two adjustments with the same name, delete one and then save the file.
Note 5: To save changes to a program file in Windows 7 or Vista with User Account Control (UAC) enabled (the default setting), you first need to open Notepad with "run as administrator" privileges, and then browse to and open CTI Navigator's version.ini file from inside Notepad (use File > Open > Look-In). Otherwise, disable UAC and restart Windows before attempting to change a file in CTI Navigator.
The following list summarizes the various macro security settings. Under all settings, if antivirus software that works with Microsoft 365 is installed and the workbook contains macros, the workbook is scanned for known viruses before it is opened.
In Excel 2003, executable files (such as .exe or .com) must be signed by an acknowledged trusted source (that is, they must have a certificate of trust) in order to run. Otherwise, all executables associated with or embedded in documents are automatically disabled without warning the user when those documents are opened.
On some Macs, this procedure may not work with your computer's configuration. In those cases, you must edit Firefox's config file to change the margins. Clear the address bar in your browser, type "about:config" and press Enter. Click the I accept the risk! button to confirm that you want to open the configuration settings. In the filter box at the top of the next screen, type "print.print_margin" to find the margin settings. In the Value column, double-click the default .5 setting and type a different number.

In addition, each camera can be displayed in its own individual video window. You can open individual camera video windows from the Window menu, or by double-clicking on a camera's live image in the main video window or Group window, or by double-clicking on a camera name in the Camera Info window. All video windows can be resized to any shape and size by dragging any side.
Customising Display LayoutsEach video window, and each screen in full screen mode, is laid out in a grid in which each camera occupies one grid square by default. You also have the option of setting particular cameras to display at larger sizes - for example, a camera can be set to occupy three grid squares wide by two grid squares high. This can be set via the options in the contextual menu that appears when you right-click (or Control-click) a camera's live view:
Use the options Camera Display Width In This Window and Camera Display Height In This Window to set the size of each camera's live view. Each video window, and each screen in full screen mode, has its own independent layout that can be set in this way.
Setting Schedules And OverridesThere are a number of ways to schedules and overrides for a particular camera, or group of cameras:In the Control menu there are options to set schedules for all cameras together.Right-click on a camera's live video feed in any video window, or on a camera name in the Camera Info window, to get a pop-up menu that allows you to set schedules and overrides for that camera. In the Camera Info window, and in the information line displayed above live video feeds (if you have this option enabled in the Preferences), you will see C, M and A indicators that represent the three modes that can be armed (Continuous Capture, Motion Capture and Actions), like this:
To create a bookmark, double-click at the top of the timeline. Right-click (control-click) on an existing bookmark, or anywhere in the timeline, for a pop-up menu with options to create, edit, delete or jump to a bookmark. Each day has its own set of bookmarks, which are saved permanently.
Advanced Movie SearchFor any camera that has the appropriate Movie search metadata options enabled under Preferences - Cameras - Triggers, the Advanced Search feature (available from the pop-up menu at the top of the Browser window) can be used to find events in the recorded movie files. Select the Advanced Search option and a panel appears that allows you to set search criteria:
Browser Menu - Zoom In/Out TimelineUse these options to zoom in or out in the timeline view. Zoom in to see the position of time objects in detail, or zoom out to get a more general picture of captured footage throughout the day.
The Dashboard window displays various performance metrics, which allow you to monitor the daily operation of your SecuritySpy system and spot any potential problems. Choose Dashboard from the Window menu to open the Dashboard:
HomeHelper must stay openIn order to function, HomeHelper must be open and visible, but it can run quietly in the background. SecuritySpy will open and close HomeHelper automatically as necessary.
Set your user account to log in automaticallyMake sure that Automatic login is enabled in the Users & Groups system preference, so that when the Mac starts up, it automatically logs in and opens SecuritySpy.
Performance - Suspend video decoding when not neededWith this option off, SecuritySpy decodes all incoming video frames, whether or not each one is actually required. The advantage of this is that decoded frames are available at all times, so if images from a camera are suddenly required (e.g. a video window is opened), they will be available immediately. Enabling this option can reduce resource usage, however this may result in a significant delay until decoding can resume and the next frame is available.
The Device tab contains settings related to video devices themselves (the screenshot below show the settings available for network devices; for local devices - i.e. those connected by USB, Thunderbolt or built-in devices such as FaceTime cameras - there are many fewer options available as these are plug-and-play devices that don't need to be set up in the same way).
TransformationThere are several options for transformations that can be applied to the video image, to compensate for the mounting position of the camera (e.g. if mounted upside-down or sideways). The available transformations are: 180° rotation, 90° rotation clockwise, 90° rotation counter-clockwise, horizontal flip, and vertical flip. Note that, for network cameras, this setting is only available if you have enabled the Recompress video data option in the Device section.
Movie search metadataThese options determine which metadata is saved to captured movie files in order to allow subsequent search of captured footage (see the Browser feature for information about how movie search works). If the Save motion data option is enabled, all motion events are saved to the captured movies, allowing search based on motion. If the Save AI data option is enabled, then the AI is run whenever motion is detected and the results are saved. This allows searching for humans, vehicles and animals in captured footage.
Video display - Come to the front and open this camera's video windowIf enabled, whenever there is a motion trigger for this camera, SecuritySpy will come to the front, above all other applications, and will display the camera's video window.
This section allows you to choose options for live video display, and configure groups of cameras that can be displayed via their own Group Windows. For large installations, organising the cameras into logical groups in this way makes working with them much more manageable. 2b1af7f3a8
