Howard began writing songs when he was eleven.[4] In an interview with American Songwriter, he stated that when he was a kid he started playing guitar because he liked to put words together and make stuff up. "I was quite an imaginative little kid I guess. So your standard little love songs turned into your standard adolescent love songs. I think you start getting your own take on things when you're a late teen. That's when everything changes."[6] Besides playing the guitar, Howard also played other instruments as a kid. He easily picked up the drums and contrabass, but after some time he decided to focus on the guitar. After attending King Edward VI Community College and Torquay Boys' Grammar School he began studying Journalism at University College Falmouth. Six months prior to completion of his course, Howard decided to focus on making music full-time, making melodic rootsy folk music, with progressively darker lyrics. His reputation grew around Devon, and soon spread to other areas of the UK. After a month of sold-out dates across Europe and the UK Howard was eventually asked to sign for Island Records.
In November 2012, Howard released The Burgh Island EP produced by Chris Bond, which featured four new tracks. Once again released to critical acclaim, the EP had a darker, more menacing tone than most of Howard's previous work, with Howard also playing electric guitar, rather than his traditional acoustic. The second track from the EP, "Oats in the Water", was featured in Internment, the 5th episode in Season 4 of AMC's The Walking Dead, in the 1st episode in season 3 of Fox's The Following, and in the release trailer for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. In 2014, the song "Promise" from the album Every Kingdom featured in the USA Network drama, Suits Season 3 Episode 11, "Buried Secrets" along with The CW drama Reign Season 1 Episode 10, "Sacrifice".
Ben lives in Bristol and spends most of his time discovering new albums, falling in love with them, and subsequently trying to convince his friends to listen to them too. He also enjoys going on long walks, watching classic films, and buying more video games than he'll ever have time to actually play.
Ben Howard is a song writer, English composer, and musician. He was born in London but raised in Devon. Ben Howard is a surfer and musician who also likes to write music and read. He got his first acoustic guitar when he was only 8 and an electric one when he was 12. He, however, preferred the acoustic. He now plays guitar left-handed and is known for his distinctive strumming style. Ben Howard is an introverted musician who tries to keep his business very private. Most of his songs are deep, heart-felt and personal. Even though he started out as a local artist, his popularity quickly spread to the rest of the world. His music is mainly dark and rootsy.
It might seem odd that his brand of dark, intelligent folk became the kind of chart smashing success that helped him sell out three nights at Brixton Academy in November 2012, but sometimes the music industry rewards those that truly deserve it. So it goes that Ben Howard is one of the biggest success stories in British music, and I would implore you to be a part of it as well.
That said, I was again surprised that Mr Howard didn't really give two f*cks! A brief "Hello" and minimal looks to the crowd further irritated them as he continued to look down on his audience. I did think that he is only up their because of the fans, so he could have played to them a little more. But I never found out, as rather than put up with the couple in front's own rendition of "Only love", I went home, shut myself in a darkened room and stuck his back catalogue on the record player.

So, first, reintroductions are in order. I'm Curt, AKA Ingonyama(or 'Yama for short), the author of the Joint Venture Universe.I've been an X-Men fan since 1993, and have a particular obsessionwith the original Chris Claremont era. Most of the rest of myMarvel love comes from the various television shows, cartoons, andvideo games, and of course, the MCU.
"The Talented Mr. Ripley" (1999): I rewatched Anthony Minghella's elegantly Hitchcockian thriller, set in several gorgeous European cities in the 1950s, during the darkest days of the pandemic; it made me happily dream of travel. (Paramount+)
"The Conjuring" (2013): I don't mind tell you that this exemplary haunted-house saga scared the daylights out of me, and caused me to avoid my basement stairs after dark for quite some time. (HBO Max) 2b1af7f3a8
