Come to anyone in search of the best free animation app is a descent hurdle to keep putting off or would as a hobby or, for any reason. My issue is that I can't use my Creative sound card on my brand new Toshiba L250 laptop running Windows 7 64-bit. Creative installed the sound card (so far they have installed everything I asked for, out-of-the-box, including X-Fi driver) but for some reason the Creative software (i.e. Advanced Audio Manager) is not working.
I opened up the Creative Home Audio Control Software and found under Sound Sources a yellow warning that said "Select your hardware" and then button highlighted. If you click on the button you get the following message: "Cannot find drivers for your Soundblaster Audigy Advanced MB". No drivers are available for this particular sound card.
I have this card (on my desktop which also runs Win 7 64-bit) and I can use it to record and mix with no problems. But no drivers installed for my laptop. I figure it's because it's not a Realtek audio chipset which is the chipset used in Win 7. d2c66b5586
